Online poll: Fiorina did best job in debate
Carly Fiorina was the top choice of Republicans in the second GOP presidential debate, according to an NBC News online poll.
{mosads}Thirty six percent of Republicans said she did the best job in the debate, according to the survey, released Sunday morning.
Twenty one percent said Donald Trump did the best job. Nineteen percent, however, said he did the worst job. Seventeen percent of Republicans also said Trump was “most presidential,” the highest score for any candidate.
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) took the third spot, with 8 percent of Republicans saying he did the best job.
Trump remains atop the crowded GOP field, however, the survey found. Twenty nine percent of Republicans and Republican-leaning said they would vote for the real estate mogul, compared with 22 percent in August. Nearly a third said they expect Trump will be the eventual nominee.
Carson was in second place with 14 percent support and Fiorina in third with 11 percent support.
The survey found support for a change candidate, with 37 percent saying someone who could bring about needed change was what mattered most in their decision on Election Day.
Taxes and government spending were at the top of the list of Republican voter concerns, closely followed by jobs and the economy.
The survey, conducted by SurveyMonkey from Wednesday through Friday, has a 2 percent margin of error, NBC News said.
