Walker staffs up in New Hampshire
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) is staffing up in New Hampshire, hiring two experienced campaign hands to run his operations in the state.
{mosads}Walker’s leadership PAC has brought on former New Hampshire Republican Party Executive Director Andy Leach as a senior adviser and former Michigan Republican Party Political Director Michael Bir to run day-to-day efforts, according to NH Journal.
The hires are the latest in a series of moves that show Walker is planning to compete in the early states. He’s already hired David Polyansky, a top operative with deep experience in Iowa, to lead his Hawkeye State efforts.
The Wisconsin governor has jumped in the polls and appears to be one of the GOP’s front-runners heading into the 2016 election.
