Paul schedules third visit to New Hampshire

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) is headed back to New Hampshire next week to keynote the New Hampshire Republican Party’s unity breakfast and headline an event aimed at young Republicans.

{mosads}The trip is the potential presidential contender’s third visit to the early primary state, where he’s been cultivating relationships with local donors and activists in preparation for a presidential bid.

On Sept. 11, Paul will headline an event for Generation Opportunity, a libertarian-leaning group geared toward young voters, at a sports bar in Manchester, N.H. An invite for the event says Paul and Generation Opportunity’s President Evan Feinberg will “discuss issues Millennials are facing every day,” and advertises a free drink and “awesome GenOpp freebies” for attendees.

The following day, Paul is slated to headline the state party’s post-primary unity breakfast, along with Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.), and the GOP’s slate of nominees are expected to attend.

Polls show Paul has strong support in the Granite State, with its strong libertarian presence. Recent polls indicate Paul and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) would be the top contenders in the crucial primary state.
