Rasmussen: Obama opens up a lead in Michigan

{mosads}Obama takes 52 percent support in the poll over Romney at 47. While Obama’s lead according to the RealClearPolitics average of polls is only 3 points, no public poll since mid-August has shown Romney with the lead in Michigan.

The Romney campaign has directed resources recently to some states that were previously considered safely in Obama’s column.

During a conference call with reporters Wednesday, Romney aide Russ Schriefer said Romney was “in an excellent position to win” in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Minnesota.

“Can we win all of them? Probably not,” Schriefer said. “Can we win some of them? I think so.”
