NH Dem Rep. Kuster has $1.06M in the bank

Rep. Ann McLane Kuster (D-N.H.), a top GOP target, raised more than $338,000 in the fourth quarter and has more than $1.06 million cash on hand for her reelection fight.

According to WMUR, which first reported news of her fundraising haul, Kuster raised more than $1.3 million overall last year.

Kuster is considered vulnerable heading into reelection but has kept up a steady fundraising pace that’s served her well in 2013, and she’s in a far stronger position than either of her GOP opponents at this point.

Former state Sen. Gary Lambert (R) hasn’t yet released his fourth quarter numbers, but he posted about $173,000 cash on hand at the end of last quarter. State Rep. Marilinda Garcia (R) announced her candidacy after the fourth quarter started.

But Republicans likely won’t want for cash to make this race competitive — Kuster has already been the target of advertising from the National Republican Congressional Committee and the GOP group Americans for Prosperity, among others.
