Citizens United endorses Bob Barr for Congress

“It is my honor not only to support Bob Barr for Congress, but to call him a close friend,” said Citizens United President David Bossie. “When Bob previously represented Georgia in the United States House of Representatives, he had a strong conservative record that yielded positive results for his constituents. Georgia and the nation need him back in Congress now to fight for our core conservative principles and stand alongside fellow conservatives to help clean up the mess in Washington, D.C.”

Barr, who ran as the Libertarian Party’s presidential nominee in 2008, is looking to return to Congress after a decade out of office. He faces a crowded primary field to succeed Rep. Phil Gingrey (R-Ga.), who is running for the Senate.
