Gov. Brian Sandoval (R) cruised to a second term in Nevada, showing strong popularity in a state won twice by President Obama.

National Republicans have long touted the Hispanic as a rising star. Top Republicans are also hoping Sandoval will challenge Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), who is up for reelection in 2016.
