Pro-Carson super-PAC burns through 2015 funds
A super-PAC supporting Ben Carson has burned through almost all of the money it raised in 2015, according to its finance report released Sunday.
{mosads}Over the course of 2015, the 2016 Committee raised $10 million and spent $9.4 million.
The group raised $6.1 million on behalf of Carson in the latter half of 2015, a period during which the former pediatric neurosurgeon briefly reached the top of presidential polls before questions about his foreign policy knowledge caused his popularity to plummet.
Over those six months, the super-PAC spent more than it raised, burning through $7.4 million.
