Hillary Clinton sat down for an interview with “Girls” star Lena Dunham in an effort to engage millennial voters.

In a clip of the interview obtained by Politico, Dunham asks the former first lady and secretary of State whether she considers herself a feminist.

“Yes,” Clinton said. “Absolutely. I’m always a little bit puzzled when any woman of whatever age, but particularly a young woman, says something like, ‘well, I believe in equal rights but I’m not a feminist.’ Well, a feminist by definition is someone who believes in equal rights.”

Clinton also said feminists are unfairly stereotyped.

“I’m hoping that people will not be afraid to say, that doesn’t mean you hate men, it doesn’t mean you want to separate the world, so you’re not a part of ordinary life — that’s not what it means at all!” she said. “It just means that we believe that women have the same rights as men.”

The interview, filmed Sept. 8 in Manhattan and set to be released online on Tuesday, is part of Clinton’s recent campaign strategy to rebrand her image as more authentic and spontaneous.

Clinton has recently made appearances on “The Tonight Show” and “Ellen.”

Dunham has publicly endorsed Clinton, calling the Democratic front-runner’s “H” logo her “new tramp stamp” in April.
