Charles Koch thanks Harry Reid for helping his book sales
Republican businessman and billionaire Charles Koch thanked former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) on Sunday for constantly slamming him publicly, which he says has helped his book sales.
“Thank you, Harry,” Koch told potential donors at his Seminar Network conference in Colorado.
{mosads}“I owe him big. Boy, he made my book sell a lot better,” he continued.
Reid has claimed that Koch and his brother David were “waging a war on climate change,” and that they were sending “dark money” into the political system.
The Koch brothers held a weekend summit with donors in Colorado Springs and announced their family’s donor network will spend $400 million to promote a conservative agenda in the 2018 midterm elections.
Vice President Pence held an unannounced meeting with the businessman on Friday at the donor meeting.
