At least seven people have been arrested in anti-terror raids following a Tuesday morning attack in London, which left three people dead and 40 more injured.

Police initially said five people were killed in the attack. Britain’s senior counterterrorism officer, Mark Rowley, said seven people were arrested at six different addresses in London and Birmingham in the ensuing raids.

{mosads}Rowley confirmed the identity of the attacker, who plowed a car into a crowd near the Houses of Parliament. Later in the day, the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria claimed responsibility for the attack. The police believe the terrorist acted alone.
