Walker: We don’t need another apprentice in the White House

Gov. Scott Walker (R-Wis.) attacked Donald Trump during the second Republican presidential debate on Wednesday, saying that the reality show host would be an unprepared “apprentice” in the White House.

“We don’t need an apprentice in the White House — we have one right now,” said Walker, a reference to Trump’s former role as host of NBC’s reality show “The Apprentice” and a jab at President Obama.

“We don’t know who you are, where you’re going, we need someone that can actually get the job done,” he added.

{mosads}Trump responded by criticizing Wisconsin’s $2.2 billion budget deficit and Walker’s fiscal record.

The governor cut him off and said that the GOP front-runner has been “using the talking points of Democrats.”

“No,” Trump said. “Facts.”

“We balanced a budget,” Walker continued. “You want to talk about balanced budgets: four major projects over and over and over again. You can’t take America into bankruptcy. That’s what’s wrong with politicians in Washington — they think we can take a country into bankruptcy.”

Trump rolled his eyes.

“I never went bankrupt,” the billionaire real estate mogul said of his business record.
