I currently serve as an associate editor for The Hill and produce the "Morning Report" and "12:30 Report" newsletters weekly. I am also a script editor and audio producer for "The Switch Up" podcast. I was raised by two legally blind parents in Fort Wayne, Indiana. With a curious mind, that naturally led me into the field of journalism. Keeping up with politics and podcasting are two of my favorite hobbies. I've worn many different hats in the field. My resume includes Capitol Hill reporting for Bloomberg BNA (now Industry Group), keeping tabs on the federal government as an editor/producer for Federal News Network, covering the 2020 presidential election with ABC News and serving as an engagement editor and producer for the Washington Examiner. I have a bachelor’s degree in print journalism and political science from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and a master’s in investigative journalism from American University. I am bilingual in English and Russian, love sharks and am a lifetime Chicago Cubs fan.
