Riley Gutiérrez McDermid currently serves as an associate editor leading the finance, business and tech teams. She was previously a business and tech editor for Gannett at USA Today. Prior to that, Riley worked for McClatchy as a regional investigative editor. She’s edited or reported for the Financial Times, MarketWatch, the Wall Street Journal, The Street and American City Business Journals. Riley is a proud member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and of Investigative Reporters and Editors.
