I am a politics reporter and newsletter writer at The Hill. I cover a range of topics from elections to Congress and the White House, as well as breaking news.
Originally from Pocahontas, Arkansas, I earned my bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University, where I was editor-in-chief of the campus newspaper, The Reflector.
Before landing at The Hill, I had stints covering state politics and government in Mississippi, Missouri and Louisiana for local newspapers. I’ve also worked for USA Today and Newsweek.
I live in Washington, D.C. with my husband, Ross, and our cat, Walter.
