The White House COVID-19 response team and other public health officials are slated to hold a press briefing Thursday afternoon.
The briefing comes as cases surge nationwide due to the delta variant and some Americans’ reluctance to get vaccinated.
The event is scheduled to begin at 11 p.m. ET.
