Watch live: McCarthy holds press conference
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) is set to hold a press conference with reporters Thursday afternoon at the Capitol.
The press conference follows a partisan spat over who should sit on the special committee investigating the deadly Jan. 6 attack at the Capitol. McCarthy said Wednesday that the GOP would not participate in the investigation after two of his picks were rejected.
McCarthy is scheduled to speak at 12:30 p.m. EDT.
