Epstein New Mexico ranch listed for $27.5M

Disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein’s New Mexico ranch has been listed for $27.5 million, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The newspaper reported Thursday that the property’s sale is being handled by Sotheby’s International Realty.

Proceeds will go to his estate, including “as necessary to compensate claimants, tax authorities, and creditor,” the Journal reported.

According to a listing on Sotheby’s website, the ranch is about 35 minutes away from Santa Fe, N.M.

The property comes with a three-story, four-bedroom main house, a nearby caretaker’s residence and “multiple other residences” throughout the property. It also includes a grass airstrip and a hangar as well as a firehouse and yurt.

Epstein purchased the ranch, dubbed Zorro Ranch, in 1993 from former New Mexico Gov. Bruce King (D), according to the Santa Fe New Mexican.

While Epstein did not face any charges stemming from New Mexico, he has been accused of sexually assaulting women and teenage girls at the property, the New Mexican noted.

Epstein died in jail in 2019 while awaiting trial for federal sex trafficking charges. A New York City medical examiner determined that Epstein died by suicide.

In March, a former Goldman Sachs executive bought Epstein’s New York mansion for $51 million.
