Anthony Scaramucci joining CNBC as a contributor

Anthony Scaramucci is joining CNBC as a contributor, a CNBC spokesperson said Monday confirming a repor by the New York Daily News.

Scaramucci spent a scant 10 days in the Trump White House before leaving and becoming one of the former president’s most vocal critics. In one interview, he told MSNBC that Trump was “remarkable” at unifying the country, but he “just happens to be unifying us against him.”

The financial adviser went on to join The Lincoln Project and supported that group’s efforts to defeat Trump in the 2020 election.

Scaramucci joins a lengthening list of former Trump staffers who have recently taken jobs in media, including former economic adviser Larry Kudlow, former spokespeople Kayleigh McEnany and Sean Spicer, and Andrew Giuliani, a former low-level White House staffer who is the son of Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani. 

In addition, Lara Trump, who served as a senior adviser for the Trump campaign and is the former president’s daughter-in-law, joined Fox News late last month as a contributor.
