Watch live: Greene speaks following House vote to strip her of committees
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) is set to hold a press conference Friday morning following the House vote to strip her of her committee assignments.
The House on Thursday voted to remove Greene from the Budget and the Education and Labor committees, a rebuke for her past embrace of conspiracy theories, racist dogma and calls for violence against Democratic politicians.
Eleven Republicans joined every House Democrat in rebuking the first-term member.
The press conference is scheduled for 11 a.m. EST.
