Six Flags amusement parks to require reservations upon reopening

When Six Flags amusement parks reopen to the public, guests will be required to make prior reservations to enter due to safety regulations surrounding coronavirus concerns.

A notice on the park’s website alerts guests that they will need to make a reservation online to meet “state social distancing guidelines and ensure the health and safety of our guests,” according to The Journal.

The notice is in preparation for several Six Flags locations that will reopen this month as states reduce stay-at-home measures and ordinances, Fox News reported.

Requiring online reservations will allow the parks to get a headcount of guests arriving each day and minimize crowds in the busy summer months.

“While there have been no reported cases of COVID-19 at the properties, the safety of our guests, team members, and animals is always our highest priority,” the park website said. “We will continue to closely monitor this evolving situation, and follow the most current guidance from federal, state, and local officials.”
