Aldrin to visit White House again
Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin will pay a visit to the White House today after the rest of the crew and he were honored there three weeks ago on the 40th anniversary of their historic moon landing.
Aldrin tweeted that he is in DC for a meeting on “space policy:”
In Wash DC for key meetings re space policy @ the White House todaythento NYC tonight for a couple of days then back to DC for Augustine Mtg
It is unclear who Aldrin will meet with at the White House; President Barack Obama is currently at the North American Leaders Summit in Guadalajara, Mexico.
