Sanford returns to Twitter
After nearly three weeks of an absence on Twitter, a contrite South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford (R) returned to Twitter, posting his op-ed published on Sunday outlining his path forward since admitting an extramarital affair.
Sanford, who’d been somewhat of a regular Twitter user before admitting he’d traveled to Argentina to visit his mistress, simply posted a link to an op-ed he wrote for publication on Sunday,
Sanford last tweeted on June 29th, when he posted an apology for his indiscretions, tweeting:
“I write to apologize and ask for your forgiveness…” http://governorsanford.com/ , http://bit.ly/poaXJ
