Menendez takes ‘most beautiful’ lobbying to Twitter
Sen. Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) got in the game of lobbying for one candidate to join The Hill’s own “50 most beautiful” list on Thursday.
Menendez, chairman of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC), tweeted from his BlackBerry to support a nominee for the “Readers’ Choice” slot in this year’s list. Menendez backed the DSCC’s own Arjun Jaikumar, formerly a blogger for the liberal blog Daily Kos.
Menendez tweeted Thursday:
My friends need to vote for Arjun at digital-stage.thehill.com/50-most-beautiful-2009—readers-choice. He is one of our great bloggers at the DSCC.
