Former Vice President Joe Biden leads the Democratic presidential field by 15 points, followed by Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), according to the latest weekly tracking poll from Morning Consult.

The poll, conducted July 15-21, found Biden with 33 percent support among Democratic primary voters nationwide. Sanders was in second place with 18 percent.

{mosads}Warren came in third place with 14 percent, followed by Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) with 13 percent and South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg rounding out the top five with 5 percent.

In a survey of early primary states, Biden’s lead shrank, with the former vice president leading 33 percent to Sanders’s 21 percent in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada.

In the early-state surveys, Harris shared third place with Warren, with both receiving 11 percent, and Buttigieg remained in fifth but increased his share slightly to 6 percent.

Pollsters conducted 17,285 survey interviews nationwide and 778 in the early primary states for the poll. It reflects wider polling trends that show Biden continuing to lead the field, but with other candidates closing the gap.
