Rubio drops a green hint
Florida Republican Senate candidate Marco Rubio was anything but surreptitious on Twitter Saturday, being sure to note something that may boost his environmental credentials.
Rubio, who’s locked in a struggle with centrist Florida Gov. Charlie Crist for the GOP nomination next year, tweeted:
Arrived early in Orlando. Just rented a Prius but it runs so quiet can not tell when it is on or off. #sayfie #tcot
It might be difficult to concretely ascribe a motive to Rubio’s tweet, but it may not hurt as he prepares to take on Crist, who’s established a centrist environmental record during his time in office.
