GOP already atwitter on ACES

The House convened at 9 am today to take up the American Clean Energy and Security act. House Republicans are already tweeting about their opposition to the bill.

Rep. Judy Biggert (R-Ill.) tweeted:

I’ll be voting no on the Waxman-Markey “cap & tax” bill today. Thanks to so many of you for contacting me on this, great to see people care

Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) tweeted:

Rules Committee “approved” only one of the 220 proposed amendments. Not much of a chance for Members to offer ideas and debate issues.
