Grassley attends funeral of fallen coach
Most members were happy to head back home for the Fourth of July recess, but Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) began his on a solemn note.
Yesterday, Grassley attended the funeral of Iowa high school football coach Ed Thomas. He tweeted:

Thomas, who coached at Aplington-Parkersburg High School, was shot and killed by a former student and football player at the school last Wednesday. The well-liked coach’s murder generated national headlines.
