‘Daily Show’ runs ad directed at Trump during ‘Fox & Friends,’ ‘Hannity’
“The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” purchased ad space on “Fox & Friends,” one of President Trump’s favorite shows, in the Washington, D.C., market, according to Adweek.
The 30-second spot, which ran on the morning show Wednesday and is set to run Wednesday night on “Hannity,” invites Trump to visit the “Donald J. Trump Presidential Twitter Library.”
{mosads}In the ad, Daily Show correspondent Desi Lydic encourages Trump to celebrate his 73rd birthday Friday “with those you love the most: your tweets.”
“So please, join us this weekend as we celebrate you, a true man of characters,” she adds.
The “library” exhibition will be open Friday through Sunday at the Showroom in Northwest D.C. The ad is set to run in the D.C. market on both shows through Saturday, according to Adweek.
The show will also make a contribution equivalent to what it spent on the ad buy to Tarana Burke’s “Me Too” movement but did not specify how much it spent.
