Trump speaks to Ohio governor after tornadoes
President Trump said Tuesday he spoke with Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine (R) to receive an update on damage from a string of devastating tornadoes that tore across the state.
“My Administration fully supports the people of the great State of Ohio as they begin the cleanup and recovery,” Trump tweeted after speaking to the governor.

{mosads}One person was killed and 90 others were wounded when the tornados hit overnight in Ohio and Indiana, with homes, schools and businesses suffering extensive damage.
“Storms overnight across Ohio and many other States were very dangerous and damaging,” Trump wrote. “My team continues to update me with reports from emergency managers in the States affected. Listen to your local officials and be resilient. We are with you!”
The president sent the message hours after returning to the U.S. from a four-day visit to Japan.
