A California minor league baseball team apologized to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez after the first-term New York Democrat was placed among “enemies of freedom” — including dictators Kim Jong Un and Fidel Castro — in a Memorial Day tribute video.

The Fresno Grizzlies, the class AAA affiliate of the Washington Nationals, tweeted Tuesday they were “embarrassed” they allowed the video to play “without seeing it in its entirety first.”

The team also apologized to the congresswoman, fans and U.S. service members.

“It was a mistake and we will ensure that nothing like it ever happens again,” the team tweeted.

The pre-produced video was created outside the Grizzlies front office, the team said. Meant to be a moving tribute, it “ended with some misleading and offensive editing, which made a statement that was not our intent and certainly not our opinion,” it added.

The video reportedly aired between the team’s double-header at their home stadium, Chukchansi Park.

Ocasio-Cortez was shown between images of the dictators as the voice of President Reagan mentions “enemies of freedom,” according to Sports Illustrated.
