Watch Obama order Colbert’s head shaved

The White House tweeted a video Thursday showing President Obama meeting with comedian Stephen Colbert before ordering Colbert’s head shaved.

Colbert made a trip to Iraq for a week of shows recently in which Gen. Ray Odierno shaved the comedian’s head per the president’s order.

Thursday, the White House tweeted:

The White House posted a video of the behind-the-scenes taping of the president’s message to the troops and Colbert.

“The only thing that I regret is that I’m not going to see you bald,” Obama told Colbert.

The camera pans to a copy of Colbert’s book on the self of the White House at the end.
