Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) endorsed former President Trump for the White House on Tuesday evening.

“Well, the people of Wyoming and of course all your viewers know that the country was much better off under President Donald Trump, and Joe Biden continues to fail America,” Barrasso announced on Fox News’s “Hannity.”

Barrasso praised Trump for his policies on energy, the border and the economy in his endorsement and hit President Biden over having a “wide open border” in the United States.

“We cannot afford another four years of Joe Biden’s failure,” Barrasso said. “So if you want to get the country back on track, which is what I want to do, we need a strong Republican conservative House and Senate, and we need Donald Trump back in the White House. And that’s why tonight I am endorsing Donald Trump for president of the United States.”

In a separate statement posted after his “Hannity” appearance, Barrasso continued to criticize Biden and boast Trump’s accomplishments.

“Working with Republicans in Congress, President Trump created the strongest economy of a generation, secured our Southern Border against a lawless drug and crime invasion, and made America an energy dominant superpower,” he said.

“All of these accomplishments are in stark contrast to the high prices and low expectations of the last 3 years. Biden administration policies have plunged America into decline,” he added.

At least 19 other Republican senators have already endorsed Trump for the upcoming election. Barrasso also endorsed Kari Lake in the Arizona Senate race last October; she is trying to win Sen. Kyrsten Sinema’s (I-Ariz.) seat.
