Fournier unimpressed by Obama budget cuts
Associated Press Washington bureau chief Ron Fournier is apparently unimpressed by President Obama’s order that his cabinet members cut $100 million from their budgets.
Fournier tweeted Monday:
Obama promising $100 million in cuts. Isn’t that one-twentieth of 1 percent of the federal deficit?
Fournier’s tweet doesn’t stand alone, however.
Liberal bloggers have accused Fournier of a right-leaning bias in his work, especially after he was reportedly asked to join Sen. John McCain’s (R-Ariz.) presidential campaign last fall.
