House Democrats hold weekly press briefing: Watch live

House Democratic Caucus Chairman Pete Aguilar (Calif.) and Vice Chairman Ted Lieu (Calif.) is slated to hold their weekly press conference Thursday.

The event comes after 31 Democrats voted alongside 182 Republicans on Wednesday in voting to keep embattled Rep. George Santos (R-N.Y.) in Congress. The House also voted to block a resolution that would censure Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) for her harsh criticism of the deadly attacks between Israel and Hamas militants.

The House is also expected to vote on a $14.3 billion Israel aid package put forth by House Republicans that includes cuts to Internal Revenue Service (IRS) funding.

The press conference is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. EDT.
