McCaskill ‘delivers’ on her bet with Dodd
Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) tweeted that it was “no fun” to follow through on her bet with Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.) dating back to this year’s NCAA basketball tournament.
McCaskill bet Dodd over the outcome of a game between her Missouri Tigers and his UConn Huskies, the winner of which earned a Final Four berth.
Unfortunately for McCaskill (and fortunately for Dodd), the Huskies won the game 82-75.
As a result, Dodd will be eating well today for lunch. McCaskill tweeted:
Delivering Gates BBQ from KC to Dodd’s office. Had it overnighted. Paying bet on Mizzou/UConn BB game. No fun.
