A league of their own
Watch out on the softball diamond this summer, Washington.
It seems that Reps. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.) and Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) have teamed up with other women lawmakers in the House and Senate to organize a softball team this summer.
Ros-Lehtinen tweeted Thursday:
Just finished first day of practice for our bicameral, bipartisan congressional women softball team. My fla colleague, DWS, is our co-coach.
That’s an early morning practice for the softball team, but we would legitimately fear any team coached by “DWS” on the diamond.
