Members of Indonesian pop band dead, missing after tsunami hits in the middle of performance
Multiple members of an Indonesian pop group are missing, and at least one is dead after a tsunami hit while the band was performing onstage.
Riefian Fajarsyah, lead singer of “Seventeen,” said in an emotional Instagram video that the band’s bassist and road manager were both killed, and that the drummer, guitarist and another crew member are still missing, according to CNN.
{mosads}Fajarsyah also said that his wife is missing.
Video taken during the performance in Java shows the wave crashing over the stage in the middle of the group’s performance.
Screaming and chaos in the audience can be heard before the footage cuts out.

“The rest are thankfully safe although suffering from injuries and broken bones,” Fajarsyah said. “Please pray so my wife Dylan, Andi and Herman and Ujang can be found soon.”
The band was performing at a venue in the Tanjung Lesung beach resort in Java when the volcano-triggered tsunami hit Saturday night.
At least 200 people have been killed, and hundreds more are missing or injured.
