Ezekiel Elliott celebrates touchdown with $21 donation to Salvation Army

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott donated $21 to The Salvation Army right after scoring a touchdown against the Washington Redskins on Thursday. 

{mosads}Elliott, who wears number 21, ran for a 16-yard score during the Cowboys’ first possession of the game, and celebrated by taking cash and placing it into the Salvation Army’s giant kettle located behind the end zone.

The donation from Elliott came two years after he celebrated a touchdown by leaping into the giant kettle.

The 2016 move quickly went viral and led to a surge in donations to The Salvation Army in the days after the game, including from Elliott, who announced that he’d donate $21,000 to the organization in an effort to “help others.” He additionally implored others to make a donation of $21.
