Stormy Daniels lawyer on Trump: There’s nothing better than facing an ‘unhinged’ opponent
Stormy Daniels’s attorney, Michael Avenatti, on Tuesday appeared to refer President Trump as “unhinged” and “undisciplined” after the president called a sketch of a man who threatened Daniels “a total con job.”

“In my experience, there is nothing better in litigation than having a completely unhinged, undisciplined opponent who is prone to shooting himself in the foot. Always leads to BIGLY problems… like new claims,” Avenatti tweeted.

A sketch artist released a depiction on Tuesday of a man who Daniels claimed threatened her in 2011 to keep quiet about her alleged affair with Trump years earlier.
One of Trump’s Twitter followers tagged the president in a tweet that suggested the sketch is of Daniels’s ex-boyfriend.
“A sketch years later about a nonexistent man,” Trump tweeted. “A total con job, playing the Fake News Media for Fools (but they know it)!”

The president has rarely acknowledged Daniels as her story remains in the spotlight in recent months.
Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, alleges she had an affair with Trump in 2006. She is suing the president and his attorney, Michael Cohen, arguing that a nondisclosure agreement related to the alleged encounter is void because Trump never signed it.
She has also filed a defamation suit against Cohen, who she says paid her $130,000 to keep quiet about the affair. FBI agents reportedly seized documents related to the payment in a raid of Cohen’s office last week.
When asked recently if he knew about the payment, Trump said, “No” and referred reporters to Cohen.
