Fox News host: Comey sounds like an emotional ‘schoolgirl’
Fox News host Jesse Watters blasted former FBI Director James Comey on Friday, saying that he sounds more like a “schoolgirl” than a “lawman” in his forthcoming book.
“He’s supposed to be a lawman. And, you know, he sounds like a schoolgirl,” Watters said on Fox News’s “The Five.”
“He’s emotional, he’s socially awkward, he can’t even be alone with the president of the United States. How weird is that. … He sounds like a sensitive little child.”
Watters also ripped Comey for his stewardship of the nation’s top law enforcement agency, accusing him of having “diminished the credibility of the FBI.”

Watters’s comments came as passages from Comey’s upcoming book, “A Higher Loyalty,” surfaced in the media starting Thursday.
The book recounts the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s handling of classified information, as well as Comey’s interactions with President Trump.
In the book, Comey offers a scathing assessment of the president, casting him as unethical, self-interested and “untethered to truth.”
He also delivers some more personal jabs at Trump, mocking his “too long” tie and suggesting the “bright white half-moons” under his eyes are the result of tanning goggles.
Trump fired Comey last year, ostensibly for his handling of the Clinton investigation. He later acknowledged that the FBI probe into Russian meddling in the 2016 election also factored into his decision to oust the former FBI director.
