Steve Schmidt, who served as Sen. John McCain’s (R-Ariz.) campaign strategist, doesn’t deserve to be on the “Operation Leper” list of aides who badmouthed Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R), writes Erick Erickson. Several possible candidates for the Obama administration come with significant baggage, writes Erickson. The list of names inlcudes Obama fundraiser Penny Pritzker, who ran her bank into the ground, and Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin, who partook in some race baiting two years ago, Erickson notes.
