President Trump early Tuesday targeted suspended ESPN host Jemele Hill, saying in a tweet that it is no wonder that the network’s ratings have “tanked.”

“With Jemele Hill at the mike, it is no wonder ESPN ratings have ‘tanked,’ in fact, tanked so badly it is the talk of the industry!” he said.

ESPN on Monday said it had suspended Hill for violating its social media guidelines for a second time.

{mosads}”Jemele Hill has been suspended for two weeks for a second violation of our social media guidelines,” ESPN said in a statement. “She previously acknowledged letting her colleagues and company down with an impulsive tweet.”

“In the aftermath, all employees were reminded of how individual tweets may reflect negatively on ESPN and that such actions would have consequences,” the network continued. “Hence this decision.”

Hill in a tweet late Sunday said her followers should consider boycotting companies who advertise with the Dallas Cowboys to rebuke team owner Jerry Jones, who had earlier threatened to bench any player who kneels in protest during the national anthem.

Hill last month also called Trump a “white supremacist” and a “bigot” in a series of tweets.

The White House called for Hill to be fired after that incident, saying her tweets were “outrageous.”

“That is one of the more outrageous comments that anybody could make and certainly is something that is a fireable offense by ESPN,” White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said.
