Paterson’s Woes Continue

New York Gov. David Paterson (D) continues to see bad news in recent polls. A SurveyUSA poll released Wednesday shows that New Yorkers now disapprove of his job performance by more than a two to one margin – 66 percent to 30 percent.

Those numbers come on the heels of a Quinnipiac Poll that showed him getting killed in a hypothetical match up against New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo in the 2010 Democratic primary 55 percent to 23. Cuomo has not said he will run in 2010, but observers expect him to seek the office.
