Right Wing Group Plans ‘Tea Party’ in D.C.

A right wing group is taking heed of CNBC financial analyst Rick Santelli’s call for a new American “Tea Party” last week and organizing various events across the the country.

Several events, including one in Washington, D.C., are scheduled for this Friday at the Washington Monument right in the middle of the Conservative Political Action Conference, according Pajamas TV.

Organizing for the event is taking place on Facebook, where the American Tea Party group has 1,429 members.
