GOP lawmaker cancer-free after procedure
Rep. Phil Roe (R-Tenn.) is cancer-free after undergoing a procedure in July, according to a statement released by his office on Friday.
“He looks forward to finishing his recovery and returning to a full schedule soon,” the statement added.

Roe was diagnosed with prostate cancer in July.
Roe, who is himself a medical doctor, has served in the House since 2009.
