Scaramucci going on Stephen Colbert’s show Monday

Fired White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci is set to appear on CBS’s “The Late Show” on Monday, Stephen Colbert announced Wednesday.

“On Monday 8/14 Anthony Scaramucci will be my guest on [The Late Show]. This is just a heads up for our censors to get ready!” Colbert, the show’s host, wrote on Twitter.

Scaramucci was abruptly ousted from his White House post last week, just 10 days after being tapped for the position.

In his short tenure as communications director, the Wall Street financier and ardent ally of President Trump drew scrutiny for his bombastic style and attacks on White House staffers, particularly former chief of staff Reince Priebus.

{mosads}His feud with Priebus culminated late last month when The New Yorker published a profanity-ridden interview with Scaramucci, in which he called the chief of staff a “f—ing paranoid schizophrenic.”

Priebus was replaced as chief of staff by former Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly a day later. Kelly was reportedly behind the decision to oust Scaramucci shortly afterward.

Since leaving the White House, Scaramucci has maintained a relatively low profile, canceling a news conference he had scheduled for last Friday.
