Perry conducts fake interview with Russian pranksters

Secretary of Energy Rick Perry conducted a fake phone call with two Russian pranksters, Bloomberg reported on Tuesday. 

Perry believed he was speaking with the Ukrainian prime minister, but was actually talking to Alexei Stolyarov and Vladimir Kuznetsov, or the “Jerky Boys of Russia.”

The Energy Department confirmed to the news outlet that the call occurred. 

{mosads}“Secretary Perry is the latest target of two Russian pranksters,” Shaylyn Hynes, a spokeswoman for the department, told Bloomberg in an email.

“These individuals are known for pranking high-level officials and celebrities, particularly those who are supportive of an agenda that is not in line with their governments. In this case, the energy security of Ukraine.” 

The two pranksters reportedly presented a new fuel created from manure and alcohol to Perry during the phone call.
