Hannity responds to speculation about future at Fox

Fox News host Sean Hannity on Monday denied reports that he is looking to leave the network after the resignation of its now-former co-president, Bill Shine.

“If I have anything to say about @FoxNews I will say it tonight at 10 est. All I’ll say now is this is true,” Hannity wrote on Twitter, quoting a tweet from the Independent Journal Review that cites a source saying he is “not negotiating” his departure.

Reports on Monday emerged that Hannity was looking to leave Fox News now that Shine has resigned.

{mosads}Hannity said last week that should Shine leave the network, it would be “the total end of the FNC as we know it.”

Shine’s departure from Fox is the latest controversy at the news organization plagued by recent sexual harassment allegations.

Host Bill O’Reilly left his show, “The O’Reilly Factor,” last month after a New York Times report said he and Fox News had paid $13 million to women who accused him of sexual harassment. The report led to advertisers fleeing O’Reilly’s time slot, ultimately resulting in his exit from the network.

Fox News CEO Roger Ailes left the network last year amid his own sexual harassment allegations.
