White House to hold press briefing for reporters’ kids
The White House is set to hold a “mock briefing” for children of the press corp for Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day on Thursday.
“On behalf of the President, the White House will welcome your kids to join you at work to partake in this year’s Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day,” The White House said in a statement.

The shadowing event will include a mock briefing and “other fun activities,” according to the statement.
{mosads}”Children ages 5-13 are invited to come into the White House to shadow you. … This year’s national theme is #COUNTONME. The White House Press Office will hold a mock briefing along with other fun activities,” the statement read.
Earlier in April, “The Daily Show” host Trevor Noah mocked the tense relationship between White House press secretary Sean Spicer and the media by playing a mash-up video of Spicer doing a press briefing with kindergarteners.
The video shows Spicer talking to a room full of young children in the “James S. Brady classroom,” a play on the real name of the White House briefing room, and juxtaposes heated press briefing moments with pre-recorded questions asked by the children.
